STONE SOUR Film 'Through Glass' Video
June 7, 2006According to MTV.com, STONE SOUR — the band featuring SLIPKNOT singer Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root — recently shot a video with director Tony Petrossian (HEAD AUTOMATICA, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) for the track "Through Glass", the first single off of the band's forthcoming album "Come What(ever) May". The album's set to hit stores August 1 via Roadrunner, with the single expected to hit rock radio's airwaves later this month.
Blending acoustic and electric textures, "Through Glass" is said to be filled with raw emotions as Corey Taylor sings riveting lyrics lines like "When something like a soul becomes initialized and folded up like/Paper dolls and little notes, you can't expect a bit of hope," before finding redemption in the soaring refrain: 'And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you."

The tracks "Reborn", "30/30-150", and "Through Glass" can be heard on the e-card, and the video for "30/30-150" is also available for viewing. The clip, which was shot in Los Angeles with director Paul Brown (MÖTLEY CRÜE, OTEP),received a "Headbanger's Ball" premiere this past Saturday, June 3.
